The Best Pet-Friendly Hotels in the US
Leaving your dog is never fun - for you or them. It can be challenging to find a luxury, pet-friendly hotel that fits the needs (and wants) of you and your pet. We did a little research and found some of the best hotels that cater to you and your best furry friend. Luckily, you can now also find a luxury pet carrier to take with you on your getaway. So grab your Shaya Carrier, pack it with the essentials, and book a stay at one of these welcoming hotels.
New York, NY
When you need to feel true luxury - and you want your best friend with you - this is where you stay. Nestled in the center of Manhattan, the hotel holds a michelin-starred restaurant at the top of a clocktower (it’s also named The Clocktower). With a $150 charge per stay for your pet it's not cheap, but it is an experience worth sharing.
Catskills, NY
With grass surrounding the lodge, nearby hiking trails, and a pet loving staff, this cozy escape from New York City is just what your pup needs. Add your dog to your reservation for a $50 fee per-night fee. Pro-tip: pack a few balls on the inside of your Shaya Carrier to toss around when you’re not busy laying by the pool, or exploring the different towns within the Catskill area.
Miami, FL
This beach-front hotel literally trains its concierge team to welcome pet families. The 1 Hotel asks BarkBox to educate their staff so they can recommend the best dog parks, grooming salons, and pet shops in the city. Dogs under 25 pounds are welcome and stay for free - just don’t let them destroy the furniture. Pro-tip: line the bottom of your Shaya Carrier with a blanket that you can lay next to your bed for a makeshift pet mattress.
Nashville, TN
This centrally located hotel welcomes all kinds of pets - just let them know you’ll be bringing your bff beforehand. If you appreciate hotels with a trendy yet welcoming vibe grab your carrier and prepare to enjoy your stay while sipping speciality cocktails on their rooftop lounge.
Kimpton Hotel Palomar Beverly HIlls
Los Angeles, CA
In the city where Paris Hilton made the “dog bag” famous you’ll find many dog friendly hotels. Our favorite though are the Kimpton Hotels. They provide pet beds, food (but probably best to bring your own) and water bowls to make your stay is as comfy as possible. With a location in Beverly Hills and one in Westwood, you can decide what part of the city to stay in.
