Easy Treats to Make for Your Pup
Quarantine has become synonymous with baking up a storm. We’ve seen a lot of banana bread and scones. But let’s not forget the dogs. Baby G, our Chief Testing Officer, wasn’t too happy when she realized all the baked goods were for humans only. After enough death glares, my mom and I started looking into easy dog treat recipes. We’ve tested a few and wanted to share the best ones with you. All are Baby G approved.
Damn Delicious’ Peanut Butter Dog Treats
This recipe requires only four basic ingredients: pumpkin puree, peanut butter, eggs and whole wheat flour. There is literally no way you could mess up this recipe.
Sunny Day Family Dog Donuts
This recipe made us feel like chefs. We didn’t have a donut pan, so we used a sheet pan and cut into bars. If you don’t have bacon (or your dog doesn’t like it) then you can top with the Greek yogurt and it’ll still make your pup go crazy.
Carrie’s Experimental Kitchen Chicken and Wild Rice Dog Biscuits
We made these treats while making ourselves a huge bowl of chicken noodle soup. The biscuits honestly smelled better than our soup. Technically we could have eaten one of the biscuits, but we didn’t. Let us know if you give it a try!
Maev’s Vitamin Bars
For those who don’t have the time to bake, Maev makes it really easy to keep your dog healthy and happy with their vitamin bars. Maev is a new pet wellness brand based in New York. Currently, they only ship to NYC. If you’re a local definitely let your pup try one of their Hair & Skin bars. Oh, and unlike other brands, their treats smell good
